Eight Days of Branded Coffee Catering for FIFA's NYC/NJ Hospitality Lounge

Fully branded mobile coffee cart set up inside an upscale event lounge

For eight service days, New Life Coffee Company ran a fully branded coffee program inside FIFA's NYC/NJ hospitality lounge in Manhattan. More than one hundred guests reserved space on each service day, which meant the coffee bar had to look like it belonged in the room, offer enough variety to stay interesting on a guest's fourth visit, and open on time every single day in one of the hardest cities in the country to load into.

The assignment: premium coffee that felt native to the lounge

This was more than parking an espresso cart in a corner. The brief was that the coffee experience should read as an intentional part of the hospitality lounge rather than an outside vendor who rolled in for the afternoon. Everything a guest could see -- the cart facade, the cup in their hand, the surface of the drink itself -- had to complement a premium environment from the first service through the eighth.

Three problems we solved before day one

  • Protect the upscale aesthetic. Every visible detail had to match the lounge, not compete with it.
  • Keep the menu memorable. Guests needed genuine choice across hot, iced, coffee and non-coffee options without the station feeling like generic catering.
  • Repeat a flawless setup. Variable schedules, Manhattan traffic, a large loading dock and off-site parking had to be solved before each day's first reservation arrived.

Branding lived in the three places guests actually touched

We carried the visual identity across the three moments guests saw most: the service station, the cup, and the finished drink. Three touchpoints, working as one system.

  • A fully wrapped cart -- the mobile espresso bar was transformed with a custom wrap designed to belong in the lounge.
  • Branded cups in every hand -- the identity travelled beyond the cart and through the room as guests mingled.
  • Logos printed on lattes -- our latte printer placed crisp branded artwork directly onto select drinks for a personal, shareable finish.

A menu guests could explore across eight days

The beverage program paired familiar cafe favorites with event-specific details, and every drink was made to order by a professional barista. Hot espresso drinks covered espresso, americano, cappuccino and latte. A cold bar handled iced and cold-foam drinks with layered, polished finishes. Event exclusives gave the lounge signature recipes and a special branded menu of its own, and non-coffee options meant no guest had to settle. Variety was the point: repeat visitors could order something different every day.

Manhattan logistics were part of the hospitality plan

Great event coffee begins well before the first pour. Arrival planning shifted with the schedule -- 9:00 a.m. morning service on some days, 3:00 p.m. afternoon service on others -- so the routine had to be repeatable rather than improvised. We ran the same five steps every service day.

  • Plan the route, with realistic travel buffers built around Manhattan traffic and that day's service window.
  • Coordinate access -- loading-dock procedures, entry timing, freight access, and the path from dock to lounge.
  • Unload and park, moving the complete cafe into the venue and then securing NYC parking without delaying setup.
  • Build the cafe -- branded cart, commercial equipment, menu, serviceware, water and finishing details.
  • Test before service: dial in the espresso, stage cold beverages and cold foam, test the latte printer, and open on time.

The result: a guest amenity that became part of the lounge identity

Across eight service days we delivered a consistent branded cafe for reservation-based hospitality in Manhattan, without asking the planning team to manage the operational details. Setup landed on time across changing service windows and complex city access. The wrapped cart, branded cups, custom menu and printed latte art worked as one system. And the hot, iced, signature, cold-foam and non-coffee choices made the lounge more welcoming to every guest who walked in.

What planners can take from this

For a multi-day city event, consistency is the real luxury. Premium presentation only works when the behind-the-scenes plan is equally strong, so build the arrival window around traffic, loading access, parking, equipment movement, menu prep and a complete pre-service test. The payoff is a coffee experience that feels effortless to guests and dependable to the people producing the event.
